Day Ten - Southern Ontario

OK, we don't want to be whining here, so today we're going to let you write the blog with this quiz!

When we woke up it was _______________?

So we put on our __________  _________ for  the seventh day in a row.

After breakfast we rode down to the ferry dock and met up with some fellow travelers. Garry from Edmonton and Mark from Delaware.  Great guys and we wish you safe travels!

The MV Chi'Cheemaun came in around 10:40 and we boarded.  .

They have ring bolts on the deck and we needed to tie down the bike as the boat rocks and rolls a bit.  We spent the crossing learning about each other's trips so far, and what was coming next.  Time well spent.

The ride down the Bruce Peninsula to Thornbury was WINDY!  It rivaled Palm Springs on a bad day. 

Never mind, we got to Thornbury and arrived at our friends Stan and Grazina's.  Knute came to visit next - happy 67th Knute!

Then, the best treat of all - a home cooked dinner! Wow, was that ever great!  We've been away quite a while now and this was just what we needed.

Gary and Cathy came over to join us as well - the wine and conversation flowed. 

Tomorrow we will catch up with Jean and Jocelyn for lunch and then head down to Toronto for a few days.
